If tutoring a high school student you might charge $20 per hour, maybe a little more for an AP class. A college or university level student may be willing to pay $30-60 depending on the subject. /p>

A masters or doctoral candidate may be willing to pay $100 per hour if not considerably more if the tutoring involves editing a master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation. At the high school level it may require making a visit to the counseling office to let them know your services are available.
